Modern Montessori’s Open Enrollment for the 2026-27 school year will begin at 9am Tuesday, January 6, 2026 and end at 11:59pm Sunday, February 8th, 2026.
If the number of applications exceeds the number of open seats, a lottery will be held on Friday, February 13th, 2026.

If you’re looking for options for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year, give us a call at 763-358-8148 or email enrollment@mm-cs.org. We have a few seats available in select grades for the remainder of this school year and are happy to accept mid-year transfer students.
Applications do not carry over year to year. Modern Montessori Charter School is not responsible for missed enrollment offer emails that result in missing acceptance deadlines.
Modern Montessori Charter School kindergarten through eighth grade students are a part of our tuition free public charter school. At this time, MMCS does not plan to expand past eighth grade.
Preschool students are part of our tuition based early learning program.

2025-26 SCHOOL YEAR PRESCHOOL - EIGHTH APPLICATION
Please complete one application for each student.
Tuition based preschool program:
*Children must be 3 years old by September 1st of the corresponding year and be fully potty trained to be eligible to enroll*
Modern Montessori Charter School offers both full and half day options for preschool. This tuition based program is not subject to the same admissions/lottery procedures as the school’s K-8 tuition free program. It is on a first come, first served basis.
We do not offer before or after school care.
Tuition free K-8:
Open enrollment for the 2025-26 school year opens 9am 1/2/25 and closes 3pm 2/2/25. If the number of applications exceed the number of open seats, a lottery will be held on 2/12/25. For those that do not receive a seat through the lottery, they will be added to our waitlist based on the order in which applications were submitted. Any applications received after February 2nd, 2025 will still be accepted for grade levels with open seats. Applications received in grade levels that have reached their maximum capacity will be added to the corresponding waitlist.
We do not offer before or after school care.
*Currently enrolled K-7 students do not need to reapply. Currently enrolled preschool students wishing to enroll in kindergarten for the 2025-26 school year will need to submit an application.
